Kildrummy Castle Hotel

On A97 Huntly-Ballater road, about 35 miles from Aberdeen. From Aberdeen take the A944 through Westhill to Alford. Continue through Alford for about half-a-mile and continue over the small bridge (signed "River Don"). Stay on this road for approx. 6 miles, then turn left onto A97, passing through Mossat into Kildrummy, and continue for 3½ miles. The hotel entrance is on the right-hand side about ½-mile after the Kildrummy Inn, but before the old (ruined) castle.
