RESTAURANT The Salle du Preti, the gourmet restaurant in this magnificent Breton manor, is located by the garden in a large dining room with beautiful natural stone walls and a large bay window that lets the light flood in. The whole set-up is simple, bright and elegant. It is also in perfect harmony with a menu featuring dishes à la carte and three set menus with an emphasis on seafood and local farm produce. Created by a talented young chef, the cuisine invariably wins you over with its creative touch, dishes cooked to perfection and the quality of produce selected from top suppliers. And whether you go for the nicely fried portion of foie gras accompanied by a green apple jelly, lobster served with potatoes and steamed cockles or the remarkable veal fillet with parsnip confit, you'll find that each dish – desserts included – offers distinct tastes that get to the heart of the matter. The service is pleasant, well managed by young, motivated staff. While it is fairly limited, the wine list does offer excellent value for money and there's something to everyone’s taste.
