Family-friendly Chacma Bush Camp is situated in the Maseke Balule Game Reserve between Hoedspruit and Phalaborwa. It is in a private game reserve that shares open borders with the Kruger National Park and the Olifants River runs south of the camp. Accommodating just 10 guests, it offers a personal and intimate safari experience. There are three chalets – Steenbok, Grysbok and Klipspringer. Each chalet has its own patio, en-suite bathroom, mosquito nets over the beds, tea and coffee facilities and air conditioners. Klipspringer sleeps a family of 6 people and has an outdoor shower, Steenberg chalet sleeps 3 people and is next to the main area with a direct view of the waterhole, and the Grysbok chalet has two separate rooms sleeping 2 adults and 2 children. The camp is surrounded by Mopane woodlands which attracts many of the plains animals. The water logged area in front of the camp attracts animals such as elephants, bushbuck and kudu which can be spotted from the deck. Located in an area rich with birdlife, plains game and herbivores, Chacma is ideal for game viewing and guests are treated to morning and evening game drives, bird watching and bush walks.
